19 November, 2020

Recognised for enabling real estate development data capture and visualisation

London, UK - 19th November, 2020: Sensat, a leading provider of drone data capture and visualisation software that enables civil infrastructure companies to digitally represent the real world, is pleased to announce that it has been named ‘Most Innovative Business’ at the UK PropTech Awards 2020. Nominated by partner and investment firm Round Hill Ventures, Sensat has been credited for its contribution to data-led digital technology in real estate, taking the award home at a virtual ceremony on 18th November 2020.

With over 200 entries across 16 categories, the awards recognised and awarded talented individuals and deserving companies in the real estate and technology industry from over the past year. The ‘Most Innovative Business’ award looked to identify a PropTech company that had implemented an innovative solution to an industry problem and helped to transform the sector. Award organisers said, “Congratulations to all shortlisted and to the UK PropTech Awards 2020 winners!”

Following a successful $10 million Series A funding round led by Tencent in October 2019, Sensat is continuing to transform the civil infrastructure space by building robust digital infrastructure sites, through its drone data capture and visualisation platform, which is now relied upon by organisations across the real estate sector.

James Dean, CEO at Sensat said: “It is a great honour to win this award and be acknowledged for the work we are doing to make infrastructure data more accessible and understandable. Our data capture and visualisation solution is laying the foundation for real-world digital representation that drives smarter and faster decisions, as well as greater efficiencies that help shape a more sustainable built world. In 2020 alone, we have not only developed our technology to a point where it is now embedded in some of the UK’s largest construction companies, but we are now part of a tech boom where we are helping businesses think differently about technology. We’d like to thank all our partners and friends of Sensat for helping us get here. Watch this space for more to come next year.”
